As a professor Dr. Feng works in the areas of Informatics. Her computer graphics background started with her Ph.D. research on platform-independent shaders. Dr. Feng Liu’s research interests include data and information visualization,  computer graphics and algorithms, human-computer interaction/user experience for 2D or 3D Web applications, and usability studies. Dr. Liu is also interested in informatics innovations, which include applying Web3D/XR technology to solve real-world problems.
